What's in store at Cardiff Farmers Markets in 2025

Happy New Year from all of us at Cardiff Farmers Markets; we hope you managed to have a restful and restorative break.

We’ve been busy looking back at the seasons and successes of 2024, and this is what we have in store for 2025…

  1. Our three weekly markets, regular as clockwork, come rain or shine: Here, you can always buy a wide range of essentials like fruit, veg, meat, dairy and bakery products, alongside food and drink from some of Wales’ most exciting small food producers; Rhiwbina Farmers Market on Fridays, Roath Farmers Market on Saturdays, and Riverside Farmers Market on Sundays. Check our website for the most up-to-date trader listings every week.

  2. Our pop-up markets at Cardiff Met University - not just for students! These monthly term-time markets help the city’s student population get access to farm-fresh produce and meet new producers, but they are always open to everyone to join in - not just uni students and staff. Find out more.

  3. More new traders! We added loads of new independent food businesses to our roster last year (you can get to know some of them here) and we want to add even more in 2025. If you are interested in booking a stall with us, please get in contact with us by emailing booking@cardifffarmersmarkets.org.uk and we will come back to you with more information as soon as we can.

Shopping at our local farmers markets is a simple way to eat healthier, support small businesses, and shop sustainably—all in one trip. With fresh, organic, and planet-friendly vegetables and sustainably sourced meats, our markets offer a wide variety of wholesome options for your weekly shop. Plus - every purchase helps support local farmers and artisans, ensuring your money stays in the local community while reducing your carbon footprint.

From fresh produce to prepared foods made with care, it’s the perfect spot to stock up on nutritious, responsibly sourced ingredients - we’re looking forward to seeing you at the markets again very soon!
