Crew Member (Sundays) — Riverside Market, Cardiff

Do you love local food, fresh air, and building community connections?

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable Crew Member to join our team at the vibrant Riverside Market (Sundays) — located at Fitzhamon Embankment, Cardiff, CF11 6AN (opposite Principality Stadium).

This is a hands-on, active role, perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, working outdoors, and supporting local food producers.

About the Role

  • Hours: Sundays, split shift — 7am–9am (set-up) & 1:30pm–3:30pm (take-down)

  • Pay: £79.36 per shift (4 hours total, £19.84 per hour)

  • Location: Riverside Market, Fitzhamon Embankment, Cardiff, CF11 6AN

As a Crew Member, you’ll help set up and take down market infrastructure (gazebos, tables, signage) before and after trading hours.

There’s the opportunity to work extra shifts at our other markets:

  • Rhiwbina Market (Fridays)

  • Roath Market (Saturdays)

There’s also a chance to step into a Day Manager role when needed — offering more hours, more responsibility, and opportunities to grow within our supportive team.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience setting up and taking down market or event equipment (including signage and gazebos)
✅ Confident with manual handling and physically fit
✅ Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
✅ Friendly and diplomatic with the public and traders
✅ Punctual and ready for early mornings — in all weather!
✅ Passionate about local food, sustainability, and community spirit
✅ Valid standard driver’s license required, with experience driving a van
